Found on wheelbarrows across Surulere, Mushin, and Oshodi every December. We buy in volume, preserve carefully, and keep it in the glass year round.
Therapeutic notes: Vitamin C. The taste of a Lagos childhood.
Kaduna State · Year Round
Nigerian Ginger
Among the finest ginger in the world. Grown in Kaduna and exported globally — yet most products carry no Nigerian identity. We keep the origin in every glass.
Therapeutic notes: Anti-inflammatory. A slow burn that arrives exactly when it should.
Kano & Sokoto · Year Round
Hibiscus
Northern Nigeria produces the world's most vibrant hibiscus. We use it as a colour note and tart accent — not the headline. There is more going on underneath.
Therapeutic notes: Rich in antioxidants. Deep ruby colour.
Oyo State · Feb–Jul
Ogbomosho Mango
A different fruit to anything imported. Deeper, less sweet, more complex. Sourced from Oyo traders during peak season, frozen in batches to carry the flavour all year.

Cocoa Pulp
We use the white fruit around the cocoa bean — usually discarded in production. From Ondo State farms. Tropical, slightly citrusy. The ingredient guests cannot identify but never forget.
